I did not try to ban Chris Rea's 'Driving home for Christmas' from Irish Radio Stations

From 2021:

Satirical Twitter account Dr Harold News declared that I tried to ban the popular Christmas song from the Irish radio airwaves. Other social media users unaware of the Dr Harold account's comedic background shared the story and caused the rumour to go viral. The truth is I love the song despite the message! Cycling home for Christmas would obviously be more appropriate.

I did not make millions through investing in environmenally unfriendly cryptocurrency and recommended you do the same through a fraudulent network

From 2023:

This is not true. I have not invested in cryptocurrency and have never advised anyone to invest. This is a phishing scam that illegally uses fake celebrity endorsements to advertise a business that tends not to exist in order to steal money from the unsuspecting public.

I did not just take MY bike out of the back of a state car in Limerick to cycle with school children

Contrary to comments made by Independent TD Richard O’Donoghue in the Dáil that I had my bike ferried from Dublin in a State car, I did not in fact have a state car at that time, and my bike never left Dublin. However, I was given the lend of a bike by a parent so that I could cycle with school children in their bike train.

Neither the Greens nor I had anything to do with the decision to discontinue the choc-ice

When the shock news that HB would be discontinuing the age-old favourite choc-ice, Kerry TD Michael Healy Rae mused that it must be something to do with the Greens. The reality is that we were probably among the three people who bought a choc-ice from Michael in his shop before 7:15 am, afraid that it might be our last; so enjoyed the melty chocolate and ice-cream combination for breakfast.
