Following a competitive tendering process, I appointed 3 – a Hutchison Whampoa Company – as the company to deliver the National Broadband Scheme in Ireland.

Delivering Broadband in Dublin South

The next generation of broadband speeds are already starting to be delivered in Dublin South. Eircom have tested higher speed Fibre to the Cabinet systems in Dundrum, Sandyford and Ballyboden which will provide up to 25megabits per second.
